Joanna Fay has served as a Plans Examiner for the City of Overland Park, Kansas, since 2020. They previously spent more than five years with a private architecture firm and served as President of the Southwest Missouri Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute from 2018 to 2019. Joanna holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Drury University and five International Code Council certifications toward becoming a Master Code Professional, including Building Plans Examiner, Fire Plans Examiner, Accessibility Inspector/Plans Examiner, Commercial Building Inspector, and Fire Inspector I.
