Brad Baber has served as Chief Building Official for the City of La Vista, Nebraska, since 2024, overseeing the City’s building safety and code enforcement programs. He joined the City as a Building Inspector in 2010 and has since advanced through the Building Division, gaining extensive experience in commercial and residential code enforcement, plan review, inspections, and permitting. Brad holds seven International Code Council certifications, including Building Inspector, Commercial Building Inspector, Residential Building Inspector, Building Plans Examiner, Residential Plans Examiner, Residential Plumbing Inspector, and Residential Mechanical Inspector. He has been an active member of the Nebraska Code Officials Association for 16 years and currently serves on its Board of Directors. In recognition of his service to the City, Brad has received the City of La Vista Outstanding Service Award for two consecutive years.
